Bridge ART + DESIGN

about

Bridge Art + Design is one of the New York area’s top decorative painting studios. For twenty five years, originally under the name of its founder, Marissa Bridge, we have undertaken projects in Manhattan and its environs, as well as resort areas such as Florida and Turks and Caicos.  Newly relocated to East Quogue, NY, Bridge Art + Design is now excited to bring its high level of workmanship and service to its clients on the East End of Long Island.

BA+D will help you to develop your concept from initial idea to final completion.  We work with interior designers and private individuals, and can handle paint projects of any size.  BA+D has done entire city brownstones and country houses, as well as small projects such as bathrooms and furniture.  We are skilled in all types of decorative paint finishes for walls, floors, and ceilings, as well as specialty skills such as gold and silver leaf and reverse painting on glass.

We will create custom decorative paint finishes to suit your needs, whether your taste is classic or modern.  Some of our classic wall finishes are stipple, strie, and glazing, of single or multiple layers of color.  Wall designs in modern interiors are more minimal in design, and often use finishes such as veiling or tinted plaster.  A new trend is mixing classic designs in modern interiors, and we can help you find the right look for your home.

We have restored valuable antiques, light fixtures, and objet d’art, such as Line Vautrine mirrors, John Dickenson plaster tables, and Syrie Maugham funiture.  We are knowledgeable in the skills of Chinoiserie, reverse painted glass, trompe d’loeil, faux marble, woodgraining, and tortoise shell.

BA+D is a sought-after color consultancy, and can be hired to help choose colors for a paint project, as well as custom-mix gallons of color specifically created for your project.

BA+D will bring quality and integrity to your design project from beginning to end.  Please contact us at 212-945 -8733 for more information or to schedule a meeting to discuss your ideas.
